Jane Pederson

Dr. Jane Pederson feels fortunate to have grown up in a multigenerational family in a rural community. Her first words of career advice came from her father, “do something practical”. It is hard to get more practical than a career in aging – it happens to all of us every day. As a geriatrician, Dr. Pederson has had the privilege to laugh and cry with her patients and their families, each time learning more about herself and opening her eyes to how our healthcare system and our society has opportunities for improving how we all will experience health as we age. Serving as the Chief Medical Quality Officer at Stratis Health has allowed her to work toward the goal of transforming healthcare and our communities into places where everyone will be seen and will be treated with respect and without bias due to age.
