"I Just Wanted to Hear 'I'm Sorry'"
This video tells the story of one man's life-long struggle to cope with the health-care system's culture of secrecy as it relates to medical errors. It demonstrates the long-term impact to survivors of such secrecy and contrasts that with the healing and renewal that come with transparency and apology. Viewers should use this video as a vehicle to critically examine the policies and practices of themselves and their organization(s) as they relate to the disclosure of medical error.
